Phil Foden hit a stunning hat-trick as Manchester City thrashed Aston Villa 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium to move top of the Premier League.
The England international opened the scoring after just four minutes with a delightful dink over Emiliano Martinez before adding a second just after the hour mark.
Ollie Watkins pulled one back for Villa with 15 minutes remaining, but Foden completed his treble two minutes later with a fine finish into the bottom corner.
Riyad Mahrez then added a fourth in the dying minutes to seal a comfortable victory for the hosts.
The result means City move two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table, while Villa remain 11th.
